    Peggy's Fast Fudge

Peggy G. has been a friend of my parents' for just about as long as I can remember, and it was she who gave me this excellent microwave fudge recipe. You might want to consider making a double batch--it does tend to disappear pretty quickly!!

    3/4 cup (1-1/2 sticks) margarine
    3 cups sugar
    2/3 cup evaporated milk
    1 cup chopped nuts
    1 (12-oz.) bag (2 cups) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
    1 (7-oz.) jar Marshmallow Fluff
    1 tsp. vanilla extract

In 4-quart bowl, microwave margarine on high for 1 minute or until melted. Add sugar and milk and mix well. Microwave on high for 5 minutes or until mixture begins to boil, stirring after 3 minutes. Mix well. Scrape bowl.
Microwave on high for 5-1/2 minutes, stirring after 3 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into lightly greased 9x9-inch or 13x9-inch pan. Cool at room temperature.
