Caramel Cobbler

List of Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar
- 3/4 cups milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 cups boiling water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Place butter in 13 x 9 inch baking dish and place in oven until melted.
- In large bowl whisk together flour, white sugar, milk and vanilla.
- Pour over melted butter. DO NOT STIR.
- Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over mixture. DO NOT STIR.
- Pour boiling water over brown sugar layer. DO NOT STIR.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
- Serve warm.
Final Comments
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
