Coconut Cake

List of Ingredients
- One box Duncan Hines butter cake mix
- 2 - pkg cream cheese
- 1 - 8 oz container cool whip
- 2 - tsp. sour cream
- 1 - cup sugar
- 1 - tsp vanilla flavoring
- 6 - oz coconut
Instructions
- Mix cake mix following directions on package except use milk instead of water.
- Mix sour cream in mix.
- Bake cake, directions on cake mix pkg.
- Cake Frosting directions:
- Soften sour cream in warm water.
Remove from package and place in medium size mixing bowl.
Cream sour cream, sugar, vanilla until frosting blended smooth.
Add coconut, mix on low speed until well mixed.
Fold cool whip into frosting mix.
After cake has cooled, ice cake with frosting between layers and on top of cake.
Sprinkle generously with coconut on top.
Final Comments
You can substitute coconut milk instead of milk. Cake is better if made a day before, it gives more flavor to cake.
