    King Crab au Gratin

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 - 6 oz container frozen crab meat
    • 3 tablespoons butter
    • 3 tablespoons flour
    • 1 cup milk
    • 1.2 cup light cream
    • 1/2 cup chick broth
    • 3/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
    • 1 - 4 oz can of mushrooms (drained)
    • 2 tablespoons grated onions
    • 1 teaspoon paprika
    • 1/4 cup fine bread crumbs


    Instructions


    1. Defrost crabmeat.


    2. Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in flour until smooth.


    3. Gradually stir in milk, cream and broth.


    4. Cook, stirring constantly, over low heat until sauce is smooth and thick.


    5. Add cheese, mushrooms, onions, salt and paprika.


    6. Stir until cheese is melted.


    7. Stir in chunks of crab. Pour mixture into well greased 1 1/2 quart casserole dish.


    8. Sprinkly bread crumbs over top.


    9. Bake at 400 fro 10-15 min or until top is golden brown.
