List of Ingredients
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups half and half (warmed)
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- salt
Instructions
- In large sauce pan of boiling and salted water, cook macaroni until tender. Drain into colander.
- In small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
Whisk in flour and cook 1 min.
- Gruadually whisk in warmed half and half and cook, whisking constantly until mixture is hot and thick, about 4 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in cheese until melted.
- Stir into cooked macaroni and season to taste with salt.
