    Loris Potato Soup

    Source of Recipe

    Lori Horne

    List of Ingredients

1 5 lb bag of potatoes, peel and dice
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can chicken broth or 1 boillon cube
    1/2 stick butter
    1/2 onion
    1-2 cups milk
    dash of garlic (optional)
    cornstarch (optional, to thicken)

    Recipe

Peel and dice potatoes to boil til potatoes are tender.

Drain half of water off, place back on stove, low heat, stir in cream of chicken and broth, add milk, this should put the potatoes under the liquid.

Chop up the onion and put into the 1/2 stick butter(in a small bowl) and microwave til onions are done.

Pour into potatoes and stir. To thicken if desired, add cornstarch (thicken as directed on the box).

Let the soup heat up before adding the cornstarch, be sure and stir so it will not stick.

Soup is ready or let sit on low for alittle before serving.
