    Taco Soup

    Source of Recipe

    Betty A Young

    List of Ingredients

    • 10 lbs ground chuck
    • 6 cans whole corn
    • 8 cans chili beans (or 4 chili beans/4 kidney beans)
    • 8 cans stewed tomatoes (or crushed/diced)
    • 6 packets of dry ranch dressing
    • 6 packets of taco seasonion (low sodium if you can)
    • 4 large onions (chopped)

    Instructions

    1. Brown ground chuck and onions, drain.

    2. Add all ingredients (do not drain the cans).

    3. Add some water or tomato sauce if it looks to thick. It will loosen up some as it starts to cook.

    4. Cook on 350 degrees (electric roaster) for 4 hours.

    Final Comments

Serve with tortilla chips, sour cream and shredded cheese (takes like a taco!)
Serve with cornbread (tastes like soup!)
For a regular crockpot adjust recipe to 2 1/2 lbs ground chuck, 1 onion and 2 of all other ingredients.
