    List of Ingredients


    • 1 sack - 24 ozs - shredded potatoes for hash browns - available in the dairy aisle
    • 1 large carrot
    • 1 medium onion
    • 2 eggs, beaten
    • 2 teaspoons of salt
    • 1 teaspoon baking powder
    • 3 tablespoons of matzo meal or all purpose flour


    Instructions


    1. heat 1/2 inch of oil in a large skillet over medium heat
    2. place potatoes in a large blowl. using a hand grater, grate the carrot and onion into the bown
    3. add beaten eggs into the bowl
    4. add salt and baking powder, then sprinkle in the meal or flour
    5. compbine veggies and meal with a woden spoon
    6. drop mixture into oil in 3 inch mounds press down gently with a spatula to form patties
    7. fry in batches of 4 to 6 patties 1 inch apart until golden brown
