    Red Hot Shrimp and Cheese Spread

    8 oz cream cheese,
    2 TBL dried chives,
    1 TBL hot sauce,
    4 oz ca coctail shrimp
    1 cup grated cheddar cheese

    Allow cream cheese to soften at room temperature. Beat in chives, hot sauce and the cheddar cheese. When thoroughly blended, stir in the undrained can of coctail shrimp, gently folding. Place in refrigerator for several hours so the flavors can mingle. Remove and allow to come to room temperature before serving with crackers.

    Use your favorite hot sauce. For a milder dip, reduce the amount of hot sauce.
