    Chili Relleno Bake

    8 canned whole green chiles
    8 slices Monterey Jack cheese
    5 eggs
    1 cup milk
    1/4 cup flour
    1/2 tsp salt
    Dash of white pepper
    Approximately 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
    1T fresh basil, chopped
    Blk Pepper to taste

    Preheat oven to 350 and grease 4 ramekins.
    Remove seeds from chiles and pat dry.
    Stuff each chili with a slice of Monterey Jack Cheese, place in dish.

    Beat eggs, milk, flour, salt, and white pepper. Pour over chilies. Top with grated cheddar cheese.
    Bake for 30 minutes.
    Sprinkle with basil and black pepper, and serve.
