    Crock Pot Nacho Beef and Potatoes

    1 pound lean ground beef
    1 cup chopped onion
    1 can cond fiesta nacho cheese soup
    1 cup milk
    1 4-oz. can diced green chile peppers
    6 med potatoes, cut into wedges
    1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
    Dairy sour cream (optional)
    Sliced green onions (optional)
    Shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

    DIRECTIONS:
    In large skillet, cook ground beef and chopped onion until meat is browned, drain.
    Add soup, milk, and undrained chile peppers to meat mixture, stir well to combine ingredients.
    Place potato wedges in a 3-1/2 or 4-quart slow cooker/crock pot. Sprinkle potatoes with garlic salt
    Cover potatoes with meat mixture
    Place lid on slow cooker. Cook on low-heat for 7 to 8 hours or on high-heat for 3-1/2 to 4 hours. Check potatoes for tenderness to test doneness
    gently stir potatoes and meat mixture just before serving
    Top each serving with additional (optional) ingredients as desired: Sour cream, green onions and shredded cheddar cheese.
