    List of Ingredients




    2 tsp. light olive oil
    1 cup chopped onion
    3 garlic cloves, minced
    2 tsp. ground coriander
    1/2 tsp. turmeric
    1/2 tsp. ground cumin
    2 - 19 oz. cans chickpeas, rinsed and drained
    1 cup & 2 Tbsp. water
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice, preferably fresh

    Recipe



    Heat oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic. Cook, stirring frequently for 5 minutes.

    Sprinkle with spices and add 2 Tbsp. water. Continue to cook and stir for 1 minute.

    Add chickpeas and remaining water. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes.

    Stir in lemon juice and cook for 5 minutes more.
