List of Ingredients 2 egg whites 1/8 t. salt 1/8 t. cream tartar 1 t. vanilla 3/4 C. sugar 1/4 C. chopped nuts 1 (6 oz) pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips Instructions Beat egg whites, salt, cream of tartar and vanilla until soft peaks form. Add sugar gradually beating until peaks are stiff. Fold in chocolate drops and nuts. Cover cookie sheet with plain brown paper (grocery sacks work fine). Drop mixture on by rounded teaspoons. Bake in slow oven, 300 degrees, 20 to 25 minutes. Final Comments Makes about 2 dozen.
