    • Angel Cake Mix or boughten Angel Cake
    • 3 (11 oz) cans mandarin oranges, drained
    • Orange Jello (6 oz)
    • 1 quart orange sherbet
    • Cool Whip Free (12 oz), thawed


    Instructions


    1. Bring 1 C. juice to boil. Stir in Jello until dissolved.
    2. Add sherbet, stir until melted. Fold in whipped topping.
    3. Brush loose crumbs from cake, trim bottom crust from cake. Tear cake into bite-size pieces.
    4. Place half the cake pieces in 9X13 dish or pan.
    5. Reserve some mandarin oranges for garnish. Cut remaining slices into pieces.
    6. Place half of the orange pieces over cake pieces. Cover with half the sherbet mixture.
    7. Repeat with the remaining cake pieces, orange pieces and then sherbet mixture again.
    8. Refrigerate overnight. Cut into squares and garnish with oranges slices.


    Final Comments


    I used an extra can of mandarine orange slices in the recipe.
