    CHICKEN, BAKED

    Recipe Introduction


    Lois Wilson, 1976


    List of Ingredients


    • Eight Chicken breasts or broiler chicken (omit wings), salt and pepper.
    • chopped onion
    • 1 can cream chicken soup
    • 1 can cream celery soup
    • 1/2 C. sherry (I used chicken broth)
    • sharp grated cheddar cheese
    • paprika


    Instructions


    1. Arrange chicken in large pyrex dish.

    2. Mix onion, soups and sherry/broth and pour over chicken.

    3. Sprinkle with cheese and paprika.

    4. Dish can be prepared ahead. If dish is cold bake 3 hours, if room temperature bake 250 degrees for 2 1/2 hours.



    Final Comments


    Serve with rice to use liquid.
