    BEEF, GLAZED MEATBALLS

    Recipe Introduction


    Uses grape jelly


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb. ground beef, I used 1 1/2
    • 1/2 C. dry bread crumbs
    • 1/3 C. minced onion, I used less
    • 1/4 C. milk
    • 1 egg
    • 1 T. snipped parsley, opt.
    • 1/2 t. Worcestershire Sauce
    • 1/4 bottle (12 oz) chili sauce
    • 1 jar (10 oz) grape jelly


    Instructions


    1. Mix ground beef, crumbs, onion, milk, egg, salt, pepper, Worcestershire Sauce. Shape into 1 inch balls.

    2. Brown meatballs in shortening. Drain fat.

    3. Remove meatballs from pan.

    4. Heat chili sauce and jelly until jelly is melted, stirring constantly.

    5. Add meatballs, stir until coated. Simmer 30 minutes.

    6. Serve hot with toothpicks.
