    List of Ingredients




    2 ripe avocados
    1 large garlic clove, mashed to a paste
    3 to 4 tablespoons lime juice or lemon juice
    1 jalapeno, or more to taste, seeded and minced (wear rubber
    gloves)(Anaheim pepper may be substituted)
    2 vine-ripened tomatoes, seeded and chopped fine
    1 small red onion, chopped fine
    1/4 cup cilantro leaves and fine stems, finely chopped
    1 cup sour cream
    Salt and freshly ground pepper

    Recipe



    Halve and pit avocados and scoop flesh into a medium bowl.
    Mash avocado with a fork and stir in remaining ingredients,
    combining well. Chill covered with plastic wrap for at least
    1 hour and up to 1 day. Stir guacamole well and serve.
    Yield: about 3 cups
