    2 medium avocados
    1/2 small onion -- finely diced (optional)
    2 tablespoons lemon juice
    1 clove garlic -- minced
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon pepper
    1 dash oregano

    Recipe



    Peel, seed, and mash the avocados. Combine the mashed avocados with
    the remaining ingredients and serve immediately. Makes 1 1/4 cups.

    Per 1/4 cup: 137 calories, 12/5 grams fat, 1/8 grams protein and 7.8
    grams carbohydrates w/ 2.2 grams fiber.

    Note: Do not use metal utensils or serving dishes. They will discolor
