    Recipe Introduction

Another experiment last night, made it kind of on-the-fly, so I can't really give you truly accurate measurements. Still, here's the basics from which you can make to your own taste. Watch that the fruit doesn't have added sugar.

    List of Ingredients

16 oz container nonfat plain yogurt (make sure SB legal)
half a bag of frozen strawberries
half a bag of frozen raspberries (bags were 20 oz)
8-12 packets artificial sweetener (I used NutraSweet)
    milk (I used 2%)

    Recipe

Place fruit in blender, add milk a little at a time until you can blend all the fruit. Try not to make it too thin a consistency. Add the yogurt (but not to where your blender overflows!), blend thoroughly, then add sweetener to taste. Serves 4-6

For a somewhat "lighter" texture and less yogurt taste, try halving the amount of yogurt.

I imagine this will be even better this summer as there's more fruit available -- especially fresh Georgia peaches. It does "combine" fruit with dairy, but I figure this should be okay on an occasional basis -- plus I have never had any digestive difficulties with fruit.

Hmm.. there's a bag of frozen peach slices in the freezer...
