    Recipe Introduction

Here's our recipe. It's just a tad different because it does not add any kind of sweetener at all just nutmeg! It's good! it doesn't need to be sweeter although I suppose you could add a little of your sweetener of choice. This can be doubled but be sure you use at the very least a 9-10" cast iron skillet with tall sides if you do double it. This baby gets tall!! which always blows the kids' minds.

    List of Ingredients

Heat the over to 425 degrees. Melt 4 TBSP butter in a cast iron skillet.
Meanwhile, in the blender add the following and just pulse a couple of times until blended but still lumpy:
    2 eggs
    1/2 cup fresh raw milk
1/3 cup flour (we use almond or oat or whole wheat - what ever we have around.... My mother even use Wondra flour once and they were smooth as a baby's bottom :) )
    1/2 tsp nutmeg
    1/4 tsp almond extract

    Recipe

When the butter is hot and melted, pour in the batter making sure to cover the whole bottom of the pan. Bake for 15-20 minutes and serve immediately. We use fresh raw honey sparingly on them. MMMmmm, good!
