Asparagus Casserole
List of Ingredients
1 - 1/2 cups cracker crumbs
1 can green cut asparagus or 1 package frozen asparagus (cooked until
tender)
1 stick of margarine
1/2 cup slivered almonds
Cheese Sauce (combine these ingredients):
4 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 - 1/2 cups milk
1 (5 ounce) glass Kraft Old English Cheese
Recipe
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Melt margarine and stir in cracker crumbs.
Place 3/4 crumbs in bottom of casserole dish. Place cut asparagus on top of
cracker crumbs and sprinkle with almonds. Pour on cheese sauce and top with
remaining cracker crumbs and almonds. Bake for 12 minutes.
