    Grandma's Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

    1/2 cup soft butter
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp vanilla

    Beat in order until well blended.

    1 cup flour
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1/4 tsp baking powder
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp cinnamon
    1/2 tsp nutmeg

    Mix well and add to above.

    1 cup oatmeal
    1/2 cup raisins
    1/2 cup chopped walnuts

    Stir in until all is well mixed.

    Bake at 350F degrees for 15 minutes on cookie sheets.
