    Recipe Introduction


    This is a rich, good tasting ice cream --as good as anything bought at the
    grocery. Changing extracts and flavors will allow this simple recipe to be
    the base for many other varieties. For chocolate omit vanilla and add
    chocolate syrup made with 1 part hersheys' cocoa 2 parts water and Splenda
    to taste. Bring to a boil and allow to thicken slightly. cool before
    using. Each 1/2-Cup Serving - 5 carbs.


    List of Ingredients




    2 cups half 'n half
    1 cup heavy cream
    16 packets Splenda®
    1 Tablespoon real vanilla extract
    pinch of salt (1/8 teaspoon?)

    Recipe



    Put all ingredients in a bowl and whip with mixer until Splenda is well
    mixed and mixture is like soft whipped creaam. Pour mixture into your ice
    cream freezer. Follow manufacturers diretions.
    (Most ice cream makers take 30-40 minutes to freeze properly.)
