    from Dr. Atkins' Diet Cook Book by Fran Gare and Helen Monica, 1974
    1 pound blanched almonds
    2 tablespoons oil
    1/4 teaspoon chili powder
    1 teaspoon salt
    dash of pepper

    Saute almonds in oil for about 5 minutes. Drain on paper towels. Add seasonings.
