    List of Ingredients




    1 pound bay scallop
    2 tablespoons butter -- cut into pieces
    juice from 1/4 of a lemon
    1 clove garlic -- minced (up to 2)
    sprinkle salt
    asparagus or green beans -- optional

    Recipe



    Arrange scallops in a shallow oven-proof dish in a single layer. Top
    with butter, lemon juice, garlic, and salt. Broil in the oven on the
    top middle rack for 20 minutes, stirring once during cooking. Serve
    over steamed veggies. I sometimes even make this as a side dish for
    steak!
