    4 slices bacon -- chopped
    1/2 cup onion -- chopped
    1/2 cup green pepper -- chopped
    2 cans black soy beans -- drained
    1/2 cup tomato sauce
    1/4 cup vinegar
    1/4 cup Maple Syrup, Sugar Free
    1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
    1/2 teaspoon liquid Barbecue Smoke®
    2 tablespoons splenda

    Recipe



    Brown bacon, onion and green pepper until tender.

    Add remaining ingredients.

    Cook 10 mintues or longer - the longer the better.

    Per Serving (excluding unknown items): 41 Calories; 2g Fat (42.4%
    calories from fat); 2g Protein; 5g Carbohydrate; 1g Dietary Fiber;
    4mg Cholesterol; 367mg Sodium. Exchanges: 0 Lean Meat; 1/2
    Vegetable; 1/2 Fat; 0 Other Carbohydrates.

    NOTES : Note: You must add the count of the soy beans that you use
    to the total given here and divide by 6.

    I have also added a pound of cooked ground beef and a link of smoked
    sausage cut up. Also some chili powder. I baked it in a 350 degree
    oven for about 45 minutes.
