Fragrant Chicken Soup

List of Ingredients
1 can (14 1/2 ounces)chicken broth
4 chicken breasts, cut into 1/2" chunks
1 can 10 ounces) tomatoes with green chilies, diced
1 medium onion, diced
1/4 teaspoon sage or 1/2 teaspoon thyme
1 13.25 ounce can mushroom stems and pieces. drained
Seasonings to add later:
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon curry powder
freshly ground black pepper
salt to taste
Recipe
Put all the above in a crock pot and stir well -- start the crock on high
and let it cook for about an hour and then turn heat to low and let it cook
all day. It's nice to have the smells in the house when you come come home
tired and hungry. Add the spices, adjust to taste. Stir well and serve.
