    My dh LOVED this soup. This is the first time in a long time that I heard him say "Mmmmmmmm.....this is good" after just one bite :-) I made up my own concoction from 2 recipes.....picked what I liked out of both of them and omitted the rest.
    I'm going by memory and sure hope I didn't forget anything! :-)
    4 c. homemade chicken stock( I used freerange)
    2 c. milk (I used raw)
    1 can Amy's organic cream of mushroom soup(no trans fats!!)
    1 med. onion ( I used organic)
    1-2# cooked chicken, chunked
    1-2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
    salt and pepper to taste (I used Real salt and fresh ground pepper)
    butter or coconut oil (I used organic, extra virgin coconut oil)

    Chunk up chicken and dice up onion and cook in butter or oil until cooked through. Add chicken stock and heat through. Add milk and soup and heat through, stirring occasionally. Add cheese last and heat until melted and stir it in. Add salt to taste and enjoy!
