    4 chicken bouillon cubes
    4 cups boiling water
    1/2 lb. spicy sausage
    1/2 c. minced onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 T. Italian seasoning
    15 oz. can of pumpkin
    4 oz. mushrooms, chopped
    1 c. heavy cream

    Recipe



    Dissolve the bouillon cubes in the boiling water and set aside....brown sausage, drain then add the onion, garlic and seasoning....stir in the mushrooms and pumpkin.....add the broth and mix well....simmer 20-30 minutes.....stir in the cream and simmer on low another 10-15 minutes....taste and add salt/pepper as needed (I did not think anything extra was needed).

    8 servings for the whole thing.

    Per serving: 253 calories; 23 gm. fat (80% calories are from fat); 5 gm. protein; 8 gm. carbohydrates; 2 gm. fiber; 60 mg cholesterol; 579 mg sodium.
