FRIED GREEN BEANS AND TURNIPS

List of Ingredients
2 peeled turnips, chopped to bite size pieces
1 package frozen, French cut green beans, thawed and drained
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 onion, chopped
4 sliced mushrooms
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ginger
1 tablespoon soy sauce
juice of 1/2 lemon
Recipe
In a large skillet, saute turnips until crisp tender and
beginning to brown. Add onions and garlic. Stir. Add
mushrooms and green beans and cook until beans are
heated through. Add ginger, soy sauce and lemon juice
and stir. Reduce heat and cover for 1-2 minutes. Remove
from heat and serve immediately. Makes 4 servings.
