    1/4 cup blanched almonds -- slivered
    1/4 cup butter
    1/4-teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon lemon juice -- (up to 2 tsp)
    2 cups green beans -- cooked

    Recipe



    Cook slivered almonds in butter over low heat until golden, stirring
    occasionally. Remove from heat; add salt and lemon juice. Pour over
    hot, cooked green beans.
