    Sweet and Sour Radishes

    2 bunches radishes -- topped and tailed
    1 teaspoon salt
    2 tablespoons soy sauce
    1 tablespoon wine vinegar
    1 tablespoon brown sugartwin
    2 teaspoons sesame oil

    Recipe



    Using the side of a cleaver or chef's knife, smash each radish, but do not
    break them completely. They should remain almost whole.

    Sprinkle with salt and let rest for 5 minutes.

    Combine with rest of ingredients and stir until sugar dissolves.

    Chill well and serve. Will keep for a few days.
