    Recipe Introduction


    This recipe is one I often take with me to pot-luck church dinners.

    List of Ingredients




    1 (10 ounces) package frozen peas, uncooked
    1 1/2 cups cooked rice
    1 (4.5 ounces) can shrimp
    1 1/2 cups chopped celery
    1/4 cup fresh green onions, chopped
    150-250 g chow mein noodles
    Dressing
    1/2 cup salad oil
    2 teaspoons curry powder
    1 tablespoon soy sauce
    1 teaspoon celery seed
    1 teaspoon salt
    3 tablespoons vinegar
    1/2 teaspoon sugar

    Recipe



    1. In a large bowl, mix peas, rice, shrimp, celery and green onion.
    2. Mix all the ressing ingredients together and mix well.
    3. When ready to serve pour over salad and add chow mein noodles.
    4. toss lightly.
    5. Both can be prepared day before.
