    Shake and Bake Chicken

    4 C (16 oz) breadcrumbs
    1/2 C vegetable oil
    1 T paprika
    1 T celery salt
    1 tsp pepper
    1/2 T salt
    1 tsp garlic powder

    Put breadcrumbs in a deep bowl. Stir in oil with a fork or pastry blender. Add seasonings and mix well. Coat pieces of meat and bake at 375 for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Meat will seem dry the first 20 minutes or so but it will crisp up. Variation: onion powder, garlic powder, sesame seeds, poppy seeds or lemon pepper. Does 20 pieces of chicken or 10 fish or chops. Store in refrigerator or freezer to keep fresh.
