Fried Chicken
For each cup to cup and a half of flour add:
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp pepper
1/2 to 1 tsp paprika
1 tsp onion powder
2 tsp fines herb (or 1 tsp. poultry seasoning, 1 tsp. dried thyme,
1 tsp. dried oregano)
1 tsp. Accent (optional)
1/2 tsp. celery salt
chicken pieces of choice
Mix all ingredients together and place in a plastic bag. Wet chicken pieces with water or a beaten egg. Add chicken pieces, one at a time and coat well. Leave all chicken pieces in the bag with the flour and refrigerate for several hours. Shake every so often to make sure all is evenly coated. Remove from bag and brown chicken pieces quickly in hot oil on each side. Place on a broiler pan and bake at 350 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
