1 package white cake mix
1 1/4 Cups oat meal
1 egg
1 can cherry pie filling (21 oz)
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 stick butter (8 tbsp)

Recipe



Preheat oven to 350 degrees, grease a 13 x 9 inch baking pan.

In a large bowl, combine cake mix, 6 tbsp butter and 1 cup oats. Mix until crumbly. Reserve 1 cup for topping.

To remaining mixture add the egg and mix well. Press into prepared pan.

Pour pie filling on top; spread to cover.

To reserved mixture add remaining butter, oats nuts and brown sugar. Mix thoroughly. Sprinkle over pie filling.

Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until golden brown. Cut into squares.

Makes 20 to 24 servings.
