    List of Ingredients





    1 1/2 cups oatmeal
    1 1/2 cups flour
    1 cup brown sugar
    1 cup butter, softened
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/2 cup chopped nuts, optional
    3 cups chopped rhubarb
    1 tablespoon water
    2 tablespoons cornstarch
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 small package strawberry Jell-O

    Recipe



    Mix together the oatmeal, flour, brown sugar, butter, baking soda, salt and nuts. Press 2/3rds of the mixture into a 9 by 13-inch baking pan. Cook rhubarb for a few minutes with the water. Add cornstarch and sugar and cook until thick. Stir in the Jell-O. Spread over the crust. Top with remaining oatmeal mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Cool before cutting into bars
