2 eggs, beaten
4 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. salad oil
4 tsp. baking powder
1 c. mashed potatoes
1 tsp. soda
1 c. sour milk
1 tsp. nutmeg



Recipe



Beat eggs and sugar until light. Add salad oil, potatoes and milk. Beat until smooth. Add flour, sifted with salt, baking powder, soda and nutmeg. Chill. Roll out to 1/2" thick on lightly floured surface. Cut with donut cutter. Heat fat to 375°. Deep fry. Drain on absorbent paper. Roll in sugar while still warm. Yield: 3 dozen.
