2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. melted shortening
1 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/3 tsp. nutmeg


Recipe



Beat egg then beat in the salt, vanilla, shortening, milk, and sugar. Sift togetherflour, baking powder and nutmeg. add to egg mixture. Drop by the teaspoon into grease which has been heated to 350. cook slowly so each ball cooks. Drain donuts on paper towels roll in sugar.
