    Banana Nut Bundt Cake

    1 cup butter or margarine -- softened
    2 cups sugar
    4 eggs
    4 cups flour
    2 teaspoons baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt -- optional
    6 large ripe bananas -- mashed
    1 cup chopped nuts
    2 teaspoons vanilla




    Recipe



    Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after
    each addition. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt. Stir into the
    creamed mixture until just blended. Fold in bananas, nuts and vanilla.
    Spoon into a 10-cup greased and floured Bundt pan.

    Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Cool 10 minutes in
    pan. Remove from pan and cool completely. Store in a covered container.
