DO-NOTHING CAKE

CAKE:

2 cups all-purpose flour
1⁄2 tsp. salt
2 cups sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 20 oz. can crushed pineapple
1 tsp. baking soda

TOPPING

1 5 oz. can evaporated milk
1 cup sugar
1 cup margarine
11⁄2 cups coconut
1 cup pecans or walnuts

For cake:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients and mix by hand. Pour into a 9x12 inch baking pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.

For topping:
Mix milk, sugar and margarine together and boil for five minutes. Add coconut and pecans. Spread over warm cake.
