1c. shortening
1c. brown sugar
1c. white sugar
2 well beaten eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
3 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. chopped nuts

mix in order given. I make 2 log rolls of dough wrap in wax paper and freeze. When ready to use cut 1/4 in. slices and place on ungreased cookie sheet. bake at 350 degrees for 10 min. enjoy.
