2/3 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
1 egg, well beaten
2 c. flour
2 ½ tsp. baking powder
1 c. crushed pineapple, un drained
1 c. rolled oats



Recipe



Cream shortening, salt, vanilla, brown sugar, and egg; sift together flour and baking powder. Add this alternatively to first mixture with pineapple, rolled oats and nuts. Bake at 350 for 15 to 18 minutes.
