1/2 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. crushed pineapple, well drained
2 c. all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts, optional


Recipe



Cream Shortening & suagar; add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Add pineapple. Sift dry ingredients and stri into creamed mixture. Blend in nuts. Drop by teaspoonsfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 10 minutes or until light brown.
