List of Ingredients





1/2 cup butter or margarine
3/4 cups light brown sugar
1 egg
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup applesauce
1 cup quick cooking rolled oats
1/2 cup raisins (optional)
1/2 cup nuts, chopped (optional)

Recipe



Cream butter; gradually add brown sugar and cream until light and fluffy. Add egg and beat well. Mix next five ingredients together and add alternately with applesauce to creamed mixture, stirring well. Add next three ingredients and mix well. Spoon into 2 well-greased or paper-lined muffin cups. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
