    1lb pasta--rotini works well

    1lb Italian sausage

    2 jars prego pasta sauce

    1 8oz bar cream cheese-softened

    1 C sour cream

    2 C cottage cheese

    1 tsp Italian seasoning

    1/2-1tsp garlic salt

    2 C mozzarella-shredded

    Recipe



    In a large deep skillet brown sausage, drain, add both jars of sauce and heat on low. Cook pasta, drain.

    Spray baking dish with nonstick spray(Pam).

    Combine remaining ingredients-cream cheese, sour cream, cottage cheese, Italian seasoning, and garlic salt.

    Preheat oven to 375.

    Put half of the pasta in the baking dish(or 1/4 if your making two smaller pans), spoon about 1/3-1/2 of the pasta sauce over the pasta, spread the cream cheese mixture over the bottom layer, spread remaining pasta, then pour the rest of the pasta sauce over the top.

    Bake for 30 minutes. Top with shredded mozzarella. I sometimes add some fresh grated Parmesan if I have it. Bake another 10-15 minutes to melt the cheese, and until it's bubbly around the edges.
