List of Ingredients





•1 pound Italian sausage, casings removed
•1 small onion, chopped
•1 /2 cup fresh mushrooms, chopped
•1 medium green pepper, chopped
•1 clove garlic, minced
•8 ounces tomato sauce
•6 English muffins, split and toasted
•2 cups Mozzarella cheese
•2 teaspoons Italian seasoning



Recipe




1. Brown sausage in skillet.

2. Drain any excess fat.

3. Add pepper, onion, mushrooms, seasonings and garlic.

4. Cook 2 minutes.

5. Stir tomato sauce and simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.

6. Top each muffin half with 2 tablespoons meat sauce.

7. Sprinkle with cheese

8. Broil until cheese is melted and filling is hot.

9. Serve immediately.
