    Layered Seafood Tray

    This recipe is from "Savoring the Seasons Riverside", the official Mum fest cookbook of New Bern, North Carolina.


    List of Ingredients


    • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
    • 1/2 cup sour cream
    • salt to taste
    • dash of cayenne pepper
    • dash of lemon pepper
    • 1 (12 ounce) bottle of cocktail sauce, chilled
    • 8 ounces crab meat
    • 8 ounces shrimp, cooked diced


    Instructions


    1. Combine the cream cheese, sour cream, salt, cayenne pepper and lemon pepper in a bowl and mix well. Spread in the center of a serving plate, forming a circle. Refrigerate, covered, for at least 30 minutes.
    2. When ready to serve, spread the cocktail sauce over the cream cheese circle. Top with the crab meat and shrimp. Serve with crackers.
