    Recipe Introduction


    This recipe has 2 parts, the cake and the filling.
    Cake first


    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 lb. butter
    • 2 teaspoons baking powder
    • 2 cups sugar
    • 1 pint sour cream
    • 4 eggs, beaten
    • 2 teaspoons baking soda
    • 4 cups flour
    • 2 teaspoons vanilla


    Instructions


    1. Cream sugar and butter. Add beaten egg., Add sifted dry ingredients, alternately wth sour cream. Add vanilla.
    2. Pour 1/3 batter in greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Add half of filling. Cover with 1/3 more batter. Add second half of filling. Cover filling with remaining batter.








    3. Bake 1 hour 350 degrees F.
    4. Cool 15 minutes in pan then remove.
