    Triple Chocolate Cake

    List of Ingredients


    • Cocoa
    • 1 18 1/2 ounce box deep chocolate or devil's food cake mix
    • 1 4 ounce box instant chocolate pudding
    • 3/4 cup sour cream
    • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
    • 1/2 cup water
    • 1/2 cup toasted chopped almonds
    • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
    • 4 eggs
    • 3 tablespoons almond liqueur
    • 1 teaspoon almond extract
    • 1 cup chocolate chips
    • *Glaze
    • 1 cup powdered sugar
    • 3 tablespoons milk
    • 1 teaspoon almond extract


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 10 inch bundt pan and dust with cocoa. Place all ingredients except chocolate chips in large bowl and beat 2 minutes with electric mixer on medium speed.

    2. Mix in chocolate chips.

    3. Pour into prepared pan.

    4. Bake 50 - 55 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool on rack 10 minutes before removing from pan.

    5. Place warm cake on serving dish and drizzle with glaze.



    Final Comments


    I usually just sprinkle this cake with powdered sugar instead of using the glaze.
    Makes 12 servings.
